Create your own Sea Glass Artwork - Supervised Children Welcome

Children are welcome to attend this event, I would suggest over 5s due to the small parts and the activity. Children's places are priced the same as adult places and each child needs to be supervised by an adult. Thank you 

The venue is the upstairs room (accessible via stairs) of the St. Andrew’s Centre in Pershore, opposite the Abbey. More information here St Andrew’s Centre – Pershore Abbey.

The nearest car park is the Abbey Car Park which is pay and display. Or you may be lucky enough to find one of the spaces outside the centre which (I think!) is unlimited and free on a Sunday, but you might need to check.

Tea / coffee and cake are included in the cost of your workshop but please let me know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.

All materials will be provided to make a beautiful design of a sea glass ‘bird’ standing on a piece of driftwood with a pebble but feel free to bring any items you have picked up on your beach travels to make your design more personal if you want to (optional, not necessary). I will also bring additional glass and driftwood so you can do a completely different design if you want to.

The size of the picture frame we are using is 11.5cm x 11.5cm and the aperture is 7.5cm so the work can be quite close and detailed. If you use reading glasses, you will probably find it helpful to bring those along. For beginners making sea glass art for the first time, a frame of this size is plenty for a really lovely design but if you have      brought some larger beach finds with you and you want to make something a little bit bigger, you can purchase an 18cm frame from me on the day for an additional £5.

After payment, if you are unable to attend for any reason, a full refund will only be offered if you let me know before 7 days prior to the event taking place. After that I will be unable to offer a refund as all materials will all have been purchased and preparation time spent, thank you for your understanding.
